Arrival in Tokyo
From our small yet comfortable 29th floor room, we enjoyed a wonderful south facing city view. We chose this hotel for a reason. Inspired by the Japanese sense of aesthetics, an artist paints directly on the walls of the room as if it were a canvas. He/she paints directlyThe entire room becomes the artist’s view of the world.
The night is here, amidst the clouds. The city lights are glistening through the darkness.
The hotel atrium rises through the center of the building, allowing natural light to soar down from the 34th floor. Every night projected images are displayed on the approximately 90 foot wall, featuring motifs from the exhibited artists. In this video, we’re looking down at the projected images from the 29th floor outside of our room.
